Owners and original players of the 1986 BBC Master will be pleased with this news, as we've been told by Andy that the hit classic Prince of Persia is being ported over to the BBC Master from the Apple II by Kieranhj. This game was first released by Broderbund in the late 80's and appeared on a multitude of systems such as the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, MS-DOS, Master System, Mega Drive and yes even the Apple II. Prince of Persia was a true brilliance for its time and still worth playing today, it featured many platforming levels and high danger which was usually met with falling floors, sword wielding enemies, crashing grates and at worst deadly spikes. It's just a shame it never appeared on the BBC Master and it's why Kieranhj has declared his intentions to port the game over.

Controls
Player Control Keys
BBC Computer keyboard layout (your emulator layout may vary):
- Z - Left
- X - Right
- : or * - Up / Jump (possibly quote on your PC keyboard)
- / or ? - Down / Crouch
- ] - Forward Jump (possibly # on your PC keyboard)
- RETURN - Action / grab ledge / sneak / attack
- T - Show time remaining
Helper Keys
- CTRL+K - Redefine keys
- CTRL+A - Restart level
- CTRL+R - Return to titles
- CTRL+G - Save game to disc (must be write enabled)
- CTRL+P - Pause (P to step or any other key to continue)
- CTRL+M - Music on/off
- CTRL+S - Sound on/off
- CTRL+↑ - Volume up
- CTRL+↓ - Volume down
- CTRL+E - Toggle easy guards on/off (reduce attack probability)
Cheat Codes
- SKIP - Next level
- POP - Cheat mode enabled (following codes then work)
- KILL - Kill guard on screen
- BOOST - Boost health meter (increase max energy)
- REST - Restore health to max
- ZAP - Zap guard to 1 health
- EASY - Easy guard mode
- TINA - Jump to end of game
