Prince of Persia 1 Electronika BK-0011M
Pasha Sizykh, Evgeny Pashigorov
The project Prince of Persia for BK11M was launched back in 1992. The goal of the project is to create a remake of the game Prince of Persia for the Soviet computer BK11M with the K1801VM1 processor (its ISA is compatible with the LSI-11/03 from the PDP-11 family) at a clock frequency of 4 MHz. The amount of RAM in the original BK11M is 128Kb, but there is a memory expansion unit up to 512Kb, it also includes a hard disk controller - SMK-512. The video subsystem is capable to display 4 colors at the same time, the one color is black, but there are palettes with fixed colors. Read more about BK here.
This is not a port of the game, but a remake. All graphics are also hand-drawn anew because the resolution and color palette of the screen do not match the original. By 2000, the project was stopped, but in 2019 it took on a new breath (in the form of SMK-512). At the moment, almost everything is ready, it remains to overcome glitches and try to optimize the code to improve performance.
