Main Story

Battle Hardened with Vengeance ended on a triumphant note as the Battle Hardened Prince was successful in finally defeating Jaffar as well as his powerful master, Nazaam. During the rebuilding of Persia after this recent war, the citizens called for the Prince to be appointed Sultan of Persia. The Prince declined it as he was still adjusting to royal life while happily married to his wife, the Princess. In order to have a democratic rule in Persia, he chose 15 of the wisest, and politically experienced advisers to be members of a new Senate. He considered all of them his friends and that they will all rule equally over Persia, as one united team.

Jaffar and Nazaam were dead, but the Clone wasn't. The Mystical Sword wasn't enough to vanquish the Clone, and in that battle, the Clone was only a mindless shape-shifter who fell into the cliff the Prince tricked it into. For some time, about several months or a year later, the Clone succeeded of getting out of his prison.

The Clone now seem intelligent as well as vicious. He seem to possess human mental capabilities. He made his way to break into the palace. Many passers-by assumed he was the Prince strutting around the Palace. Now, in one fateful night, the Prince's Senate members were gathered in the main palace hall and they were waiting for the arrival of the Prince. The Prince called the meeting to discuss important local and foreign affairs, but he himself was late, typical of a raw young man who is non-royalty.

The Prince or perhaps someone looking like himself stepped into the main hall of the place of the meeting. One of the members was going to officiate when the 'Prince' suddenly drew his sword. Within a flash, the whole place was a scene of carnage and violence. The beautifully landscaped hall was now filled with the color of red, guts and blood. The Clone then retreated into the darkness of the night. The real Prince then showed up and have the shock of his life. Grief engulfed him, as he mourned for these kind, aged men who he looked up to for guidance.

The palace attendents soon passed by and there were screams of horror of what they saw. The Princess rushed over, followed by the Captain, the grand commander of the palace guards. The Princess too was stunned. Everyone at the scene was stunned, but the Captain had the presence of mind to recover the quickest. He now pointed the finger, accusing the Prince of murder in an attempt to rule Persia solely by himself. The Princess was further shocked, but came to believe as well the accusation. The Prince now became completed broken-hearted, crawling to her & proclaiming innocence. Instead, the Princess just requested that she be escorted to her chambers, to first gather herself together. The Captain then seized and placed the Prince under arrest. The Prince would now return to the same prison Jaffar threw him into several years ago, when he was not yet a Prince.

There was so much commotion that night that nobody noticed the Clone moving stealthily around. He soon made his way to the Princess's chambers. Easily & quietly dispatching the 2 guards guarding her room, he quickly holds the Princess at sword-point.
None the less, the Clone seems confident the Prince is going to make his way to his Princess somehow. So now the Clone waits in the Princess's chambers with the sword at her neck, and that he would wait for about 3 hours. There is something human and typically male about the Clone that he refuses to instantly kill this beautiful Princess.

The Prince starts attempting his break-out, but this time unfortunately, he is now faced with harming the very people he considered brothers-at-arms. Many of these guards served the Prince and fought alongside him when they defended Persia when Jaffar and then Nazaam waged war. He is left with no choice, for as much as he cared for them, they had orders that he be taken down if necessary. But the Prince's goal was clear - he has to get to the Princess and vindicate himself. And until the eventual confrontation with the Clone, The Prince is unaware now that the Princess is being confined by him.

Additional Info of Some Characters:

The Clone

The Clone was a diabolical creation of the sorcerer Nazaam. He is deemed as Nazaam's final legacy, who can shape-shift, kill and assimilate his victims. Over the years, he has assimilated insects, then mammals and even lions. By assimilating, it means he morphs into the living being he is copying, and then kills them using the same copied abilities. Several unsuspecting humans have fallen prey to him, thus he absorbed a few human capabilities.
The Clone has always been successful in killing his victims and learning their abilities upon their deaths. That is, until he met his match against the skillful Prince, in Battle Hardened with Vengeance.
Failure to completely assimilate the Prince because of his failure to kill, left the Clone in a hungry state. But somehow, the hungrier the Clone was, the faster he acquired more human traits. One particular thing he couldn't do now was freely shape-shift his form. He was stuck with the form of the Prince. But he was half and incomplete. He looks horrifying like some undead zombie, especially to the Princess now, as he continues degenerating unless he can succeed in killing the Prince.

The Captain

He is a respectable figure in the Persian military. He is the chief commander of the guards. He served Jaffar when he was Vizier, then faithfully served the Sultan before finally reporting to the Prince as an important bodyguard to the head of the kingdom. His bio description is, that he is fiercely devoted to justice and to his post. He will do anything, that is accordance to his job. Even the Prince had extremely high regard for him. But by having excessive integrity to his job, when the murders occurred, someone was responsible. His immediate goal was the Princess's safety, and he believed all evidence pointed out to the killer being the Prince. He isn't exactly a bad guy, but simply too dedicated to his job, and incorrectly following his instincts.
Capability-wise he is said to be as skillful as the Prince. They sparred together in better times, but now with an imminent collision course, only one can be left standing.

Jaffar

Yes, Jaffar, the only antagonist to appear in all 3 Battle Hardened instalments. Although Jaffar is physically dead, no one knows the extent of a sorcerer's abilities. Jaffar died at the hands of the Prince, but with a vengeful spirit. Even if he has to return as an undead or a zombie, he is still determined for one last rematch with the Prince.
