- The 1.3 and 1.4 codes are the same.
- 3,5,1 appears in 1.0 as W and in 1.3 as J - 6,2,2 appears in 1.0 and in 1.3, in both as K - 5,2,4 appears in 1.0 as F and in 1.1 (DE) as A - 8,5,7 appears in 1.0 as U and in 1.1 (DE) as D
The Eizaz Azhar / GameTap version is a mixture of the 1.0, 1.3 and 1.4 codes.

The key codes have been extracted from the game (prince.exe) with a self-made program. The codes are stored in the EXE files like this:
There are four tables after each other,
the first contains the 40 page numbers (2 bytes each),
the second contains the 40 line numbers (2 bytes each),
the third contains the 40 word numbers (2 bytes each),
and the fourth contains the 40 matching characters (1 byte each).
The offsets are:
1.0: 0x1c66a
1.1 DE: 0x1c124
1.3: 0x1ccb2
1.4: 0x195cc
